Golden State Foods Foundation Website

A 6 billion dollar company, Golden State Foods is one of the largest “quick-service” restaurant suppliers in the world. In addition to servicing globally recognized brands, it is also a community leader in charitable giving and service through the Golden State Foods Foundation. They requested a site that would highlight this aspect of their company, showcase their most impactful stories, and provide an interactive platform for associates to donate, communicate and volunteer for events.

Contexture redesigned GSF’s Foundation website and created a new online interface to increase engagement of employees and associates in charitable activities. The website was designed around 4 key priorities: to inform visitors of who GSF is, what they do, where they operate, and who they have helped. In order to create a web experience that would be functional on any device (i.e. smartphone, tablet, computer) Contexture implented ”responsive design” techniques, enabling the website to detect and respond to any and every platform available.
